What “ratio” means?

“aspect ratio” or just “ratio” is the proportional relationship between the width and height of an image. For example, if you want to print your printable to fit a 30×40 in frame, you need to a 3×4 aspect ratio file. Or, if you want your print to measure 24×36 in, you need a 2×3 aspect ratio file.
